In Loving Memory
These are animals that were a part of our family and ended their journey in life with us. We will cherish our memories with them and are thankful for the impact they had on us.
Athena
Athena came to us infested with mites, heavily stressed, and freezing cold. She has since made a great recovery, and will have a forever home being an educational animal. Athena was once a very defensive and unpredictable snake. She is now very mellow and we are very pleased to take her to events to show what great snakes they can become!
Rainbow (translucent)
Rainbow came to us near starvation after having escaped from her previous owner. She was found 3 months later, outside! She has since made a great recovery over the past year.
Boulder, Corn Snake
Boulder came to us extremely underweight. He was a very good size snake at one time and we hope to help him get back to his glory.
**Boulder did make great weight progress, but unfortunately age caught up with him. We are happy to have been able to give him a great last year of life.

Helen, Bearded Dragon
Helen came to our family last year. She hadn't been around other Bearded Dragons so she is still a bit confused on how to behave. She will occasionally behave like a male, and while some male Bearded Dragons might not tolerate this behavior, Bert doesn't seem to mind overly much. She is a great girl and we hope she will eventually find her identity as a female.
**Helen did produce a clutch for us in 2013, but sadly she did not make it over the winter. We are happy she was able to produce viable offspring before her life came to an end.

Cabo, Savannah Monitor
Cabo came to us with MBD (Metabolic Bone Disease). Cabo has made a remarkable recovery so far, and continues to do better every day. He is alert, active, social, and always hungry! Cabo's previous owner requested he stay here at our facility, so he will continue to receive the care he needs. Cabo receives special attention for his skin issues, and is constantly checked for stuck shed around his toes and ears.
**It was with a heavy heart we lost Cabo. He gave it a great fight for such a long time and he has a special place in our hearts. It was hard to see him go, but may be now be at peace.

The Claw, Emperor Scorpion
We picked up The Claw from our friends at GBU Enterprises to be a Conservation Animal. The children absolutely love him, and because of his large size, they are able to get a great visual on this invertebrate.
Ross, Bearded Dragon
Ross, also known as Rose, came to our family already recovering from a poor diet. Ross was around 7 years old when he passed, and was your typical old man; up early and in bed before 4. He has a very special place in our hearts and we will never forget him!
Creepy, Desert Hairy Scorpion
Creepy is a captive bred scorpion won at a California Bug Club raffle. Since he is captive bred he cannot be released back into the wild. Creepy is an excellent example of a native scorpion, and makes a great display invertebrate.
